David Andrew "Dave" Merris (born 13 October 1980) is an English footballer who plays for Guiseley as a defender.

Career

Born in Rotherham, South Yorkshire,[1] Merris won York City's Clubman of the Year award for the 2004–05 season.[2] Merris signed a new deal with York at the end of the 2004–05 season.[3] Merris was released by York City at the end of the 2005–06 and subsequently signed for Harrogate Town.[4] On 20 March 2008, he joined Guiseley from Harrogate for an undisclosed fee.[5]
